Health and Safety Policy

Watford Swim School make health and safety a major priority in the way we run the company and our lessons.  When dealing with swimming lessons for all ages and abilities it is extremely important to put safety first, and we do exactly that.

Health and safety and lesson quality is very important to us so we keep all of our classes as very small groups (typically no more than 3 per class), one to one’s or two to one’s.  This allows our swimming teachers to focus fully on each child’s safety and needs within the lessons.

We operate the company ensuring a high level of qualifications, training and legal compliance at all times.

The Watford Swim School team is made up of very experienced team. With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, working within major leisure centres and swim schools, we put health and safety at the heart of every decision.

We have an ongoing programme of identifying and assessing health and safety risks arising from our activities and our environment.

We have in place a set of comprehensive Pool Safety Operating Procedures that are followed at all times.

This policy and all relevant procedures are reviewed annually to ensure they remain fit for purpose and reflect the type of health and safety issues which may arise.
